ECLCB-10 - Introduction

The European Club for Liver Cell Biology (ECLCB) meeting is a biennial meeting hosted by leading European centers committed to advancing fundamental liver research. Its mission is to provide a stimulating platform for (early career) scientists working in liver cell biology and pathophysiology to share novel findings, exchange ideas, and build collaborative networks – shaping the future of hepatology together.

Previous editions include ECLCB-9 (Netherlands, 2025); ECLCB-8 (Bonn, 2018); ECLCB-7 (Ascot, 2016); ECLCB-6 (Treviso, 2014); ECLCB-5 (Groningen, 2012); and ECLCB-4 (Pamplona, 2010), among others.

ECLCB-10 returns to Pamplona, Spain, twenty years after the meeting was last held here, and will take place at the University of Navarra on 22–24 September 2027. The meeting is jointly organised by CIMA – University of Navarra and Groupe Hospitalier Pitié-Salpêtrière, Paris.

The program spans seven thematic sessions covering the full breadth of liver cell biology and hepatology — inflammation, fibrosis, MASLD, regeneration, liver cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and emerging translational technologies. Each session combines expert keynote lectures with oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, complemented by poster sessions open to all participants.
