Abstract submissions

All abstracts for the 10th Meeting of the European Club for Liver Cell Biology (ECLCB-10) must be submitted in English through the official online submission platform.

Abstracts should present original, unpublished work and must comply with the current nomenclature and terminology recommended by international liver societies, including the use of the term MASLD (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease) where appropriate.

Abstract Format

• The abstract text must not exceed 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
• Figures, tables, graphs, and images are not permitted.
• Abstracts should be structured under the following headings:

- Background and Aims
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions

• The title should be concise and informative, written in sentence case, and should not contain abbreviations whenever possible.
• Authors should be listed using their full names, followed by their institutional affiliations.
• The presenting author must be clearly identified during the submission process.

Scientific Content

Abstracts will be evaluated on the basis of:

• Scientific quality and originality
• Methodological rigor
• Relevance to liver cell biology and related fields
• Clarity of presentation
• Potential impact of the findings

Submission and Review

All submissions will undergo peer review by members of the ECLCB Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts may be selected for:

• Oral presentations
• Short talks
• Poster presentations

Authors will be notified of the outcome following completion of the review process.

By submitting an abstract, authors confirm that all co-authors have approved the submission and that the work complies with applicable ethical and regulatory requirements.

Authors are encouraged to follow the abstract preparation principles established by EASL and other major international liver research meetings when preparing their submissions.
